A Milestone Moment: Our First Men's Pack the Box Event

On June 3, Breastie Boxes hosted our very first Men's Pack the Box event, and what an incredible day it was!

Held during Men's Health Awareness Month, this event was about more than packing boxes—it was an opportunity to raise awareness and remind our community that breast cancer does not only affect women. While male breast cancer is rare, it is very real, and early detection and awareness are critical for everyone.

With the garage door open, beautiful weather, and an amazing group of volunteers, the atmosphere was filled with energy, teamwork, and purpose. Nearly 50 volunteers came together to help pack 100 Breastie Boxes that will be delivered to individuals facing breast cancer.

We were also grateful to enjoy delicious food and drinks catered by Charlie's Horse, helping keep our volunteers fueled throughout the event.

This event was especially meaningful because it gave the men in our community an opportunity to get directly involved in supporting our mission while helping spread awareness about men's health and breast cancer. Seeing so many people show up, work together, and make an impact was truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated their time, and helped make this first-ever Men's Pack the Box event such a success. Because of your efforts, 100 individuals will receive a box filled with comfort, encouragement, and hope.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and look forward to making Men's Pack the Box an annual tradition for years to come.
