On July 26th, 2023 Breastie Boxes partnered with Fort Wayne Metals for a on-site pack the box event. Over 60 employees participated, heard our story, and one of their own shared her journey with breast cancer. After tears handsome laughter, we followed it up with everyone on deck and diving in while putting together both surgical and treatment boxes; some people dedicated that time writing personalized notes of encouragement. We are thankful for businesses in our community who invest in organizations like ours. We know that breast cancer does not discriminate and anyone can be touched by it. Thank you Fort Wayne Metals!
November 9th marked our very first Pack the Box event. Centered Jewelry of Fort Wayne, IN opened their doors to Breasties, family, friends, and donors to help launch Breastie Boxes. Our hearts, and the actual Breastie Boxes overflowed with personal care and cleaning products, comfort items, and other goods to reach people recently diagnosed or being treated for Breast Cancer. Take a peek at our magical night sharing our mission to provide comfort, hope, confidence, and joy to those affected by this disease.
