‘A Pinch of Pink’ returns for third year supporting breast cancer patients

FORT WAYNE - Breastie Boxes aren’t complete without a pinch of pink.

The nonprofit is preparing for its third annual “A Pinch of Pink” event this fall to benefit its mission of sharing comfort, hope, confidence and joy to breast cancer patients one box at a time. Each box is a care package containing essential items and personal comfort pieces.

A Pinch of Pink returns with more heart, more sparkle and even more reason to celebrate on Oct. 9 at The Lodge at Camp Red Cedar.

The evening will feature silent and live auctions, live music by Casual Friday, tastings from local vendors and more. Attendees can turn compassion into action and continue fueling Breastie Boxes’ efforts in the community and beyond.

In addition to care packages, Breastie Boxes fosters connections between patients, caregivers and medical professionals in an aim to create a community of support.

Tickets go on sale in early September while sponsorship opportunities will be available on Aug. 12.
